About
Us | Koinonia, pronounced:
(coy-no-knee-ah) is an ancient Greek word meaning friendship. That
is exactly what the Brown family strived to build when
they opened Koinonia’s doors in 1973. Over the
past thirty-four years, we have evolved from a small gymnastics
school and resident’s camp into a full family fitness center and a
strong and permanent part of the ten surrounding areas.
Koinonia offers a wide variety of programs to
families and individuals of all ages. Our welcome environment spans
twenty-five acres across Connecticut, allowing us to offer both
indoor and outdoor classes and activities. From treadmills to
summer camps and swim lessons to group fitness classes, our
friendly and knowledgeable staff is here to meet all of your
fitness needs. |
